Women's Day

 

A woman is a very integral to the society, family and life of every individual. Be it our mothers, sisters, spouse or daughters; it is their love, care and support that makes us who we are. At the tea gardens, a hive of women work to brew a cup of tea for thousands of people. APPL Foundation celebrates Women’s Day to make every working woman, mother and adolescent girl living at the Gardens feel special which they already are.

“Bagan ki Shaan”- Pride of the Garden is an initiative to bring forth the stories of women in the tea gardens and beyond with whom APPL Foundation is associated. Often the stories of their battles remain in oblivion away from the limelight of acknowledgement and appreciation. It time we share their stories with the world.
