Good weaves International and Rainforest Alliance have joined hands to start a child focused education project at Nahortoli Tea Estate of APPL in Upper Assam. The objective of the initiative is to improve learning at schools engaging children and teachers, awareness in the community about the value of education and reduce the risk of children engaging in work.

Vitamin deficiencies can wreak havoc in the lives of infants and their mothers. Often due to lack of vitamins in dietary supplements pregnant and lactating women and infants suffer from a number of ailments. This can be prevented by vitamin supplementation. Such a drive was recently initiated at tea gardens of APPL.

A training programme on Bush Pepper was successfully conducted on 26th June 2018. The main objective of this training was Women Empowerment & Skill Development ·

A century and half later, this blend has carved a niche for itself globally. It is possible that there isn’t a tea lover who has never tasted pure Assam Tea.

Tata Affirmative Action team, comprising Ms. Pinakshi Khandelwal (Tata Sons) and Mr. Pithumai Nazarene (TCS) visited APPITI on 18th April 2018. The team basically came to assess the impact of our outreach towards the marginalized communities of Assam.
