APPL Foundation has always believed that partnership is key to holistic community development. Be it with institutions or individuals, we have linked our partners to the areas of our commitment. In a novel initiative to engage more people directly with the community, APPL Foundation organized an orientation workshop for spouses of the management of APPL Tea Estates at Misa Polo Club on 9 th October.

The Digital Literacy Centre (DLC) at Lattakoojan was established in partnership with NRL in 2014. Since then the centre which is run in association with IRDIS has trained and created employment opportunities for several youth of the locality. 

A Tea Harvester Training program for OCHIAI Harvesters was organized at APPITI Rowta with faculty support from OCHIAI from 3rd to 8th September 2018.

TANGLA, July 23: In a bid to provide accommodation facilities to girl students, a 100-bedded girls’ hostel of the Amalgamated Plantations Private Industrial Training Institute (APPITI) was inaugurated at Rowta in Udalguri recently.
