Floods Response Programme
APPLF since its inception has been the witness of ravaging floods in Assam every year. With accent of monsoon, Bramhaputra swells and overflows its banks wreaking havoc and causing death. Lakhs of people every year at affected by flood: loss of home, scarcity of food, cloths, shelter, safe drinking water and no medical aid are the prime features of flood.
APPLF along with its partners since 2014 has been active in mitigating the deluge of destruction in the lives of flood affected people of not only Assam but beyond as Jammu & Kashmir.
APPLF through its dedicated team of volunteers has been extending relief service for three years. In days to come APPLF is firm on its objective to stand by the flood ravaged people of Assam and beyond to restructure their distraught lives.
