Victoria Toppo
Rita Munda hails from Udalguri district of Assam. After completing her graduation she was unemployed and was sitting idle at home. Her family comprises of her father, mother and two sisters.
Victoria’s family comprises of 4 members. Her father is a marginal farmer and her mother is a home maker. Her brother is unemployed. Her gross family income was Rs 4600. Financial constraints compelled her to come out of her home and thus she decided to enroll herself in DDU- Gky Scheme facilitated by Gram Tarang Employability Training Services Chabua in the year 2016.
Victoria came to know about the course through the mobilization meeting that was conducted in Chabua. After the meeting she was quite interested in the Course as well as the job role. Therefore she appeared for a screening test followed by counseling and thus enrolled herself in the course.
Victoria started her OJT in Royal Classic Mills (P) LTD, Tirrupur , Tamilnadu from 16-08- 2016 to 31-08- 2016 with stipend of Rs 7000. With the Knowledge in sewing and good communication skill that she accumulated during her training by GTET, she got promoted to supervisor.
