SMART HOSPITALS AT TEA GARDENS FIGHTING COVID-19

Under the SMART Hospital Programme implemented by WISH Foundation in partnership with APPL foundation, the Hospitals have been facilitated with thermo-scanning probe devices. As one of the vital symptoms of COVID 19 infection when contracted is fever, these devices are now being widely used by our medical team at the Tea Garden Hospitals of Katakoojan, Nahorani, Diffloo, Lamabari, Sagmotea and Hathikulu. The migrant workers retirning to their families in the Tea Estates are being screened using the device.
