An area has been intentionally kept uncultivated, within the garden premises of Diffl oo Tea Estate for the specific purpose of facilitating elephant and other wildlife migration between Kaziranga and Karbi Anglong. Together with Balipara Foundation, a dossier is being prepared of all the plant, animal and bird species found in here.

In partnership with Tata Medical Centre (TMC), Kolkata, cancer screening is conducted at RHRC, Chubwa and the estate hospital in Damdim. Annually, 10 needy cancer patients from within the estate workforce of Amalgamated Plantations are provided with free cancer treatment at TMC.

IICP is based in Kolkata but works on a national level in partnership with a close network of NGOs in many districts of West Bengal and 11 other states of India.
Vision Spring, in association with Amalgamated Plantations and APPL Foundation, conducted a vision screening program for the estate workers of three plantations in Dibrugarh, Assam. VisionSpring screened more than 4,000 tea estate workers and allied tea plantation populations with the objective of making the tea estate a refractive error free zone.
