Mithu Sonowal

Mithu Sonowal, hails from rural area of Chabua. Financial constraints have been the challenge she and her family has faced since long. It was she who decided to develop skill through training and become an earning member to ease the financial burden of her father. She underwent the DDU-GKY Sewing Machine Operator Training at Chubwa and was soon employed at Royal Classic Mills, Tirrupur, Tamil Nadu. Her sincerity at work earned her the position of a supervisor within few months of work. But destinty had different plans for her. She was offered to work as a trainer in the same institute from where she had completed her skill training course. Today she is a trainer at VTC, Chubwa who is enabling to shape future of many more girls just like her.
